Allie Taylor Named Finalist for D CEO’s 2025 Corporate Counsel Award

Now in its 16th year, this prestigious program honors the top in-house attorneys across North Texas—an achievement that speaks volumes about Allie’s remarkable impact in the legal field.

Building a Legal Foundation from the Ground Up

In just her second year as an in-house attorney, Allie has accomplished what many seasoned executives take years to achieve. Over the past year, she established Caliber’s legal department from the ground up, driving efficiency, reducing risk, and enabling sustainable business growth. From leading Caliber’s legal separation from its former parent company, Health Carousel, to forming new subsidiaries in record time, Allie has laid the legal foundation for Caliber’s long-term success.

Her proactive approach extends beyond structure. She introduced a risk mitigation framework that addresses contract escalations before they disrupt operations and has spearheaded compliance auditing to ensure Caliber stays ahead of evolving regulations.

Driving Impact Across the Industry

Allie’s leadership doesn’t stop at Caliber’s walls. She serves on the Legislative Committee for the National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations (NALTO), helping shape national policy that directly affects access to healthcare. She has played an active role in advancing legislation that standardizes independent contractor status for locum tenens professionals—a change that would reduce barriers for providers and improve patient care nationwide.

She also provides guidance on navigating state-level complexities, such as evolving labor regulations, ensuring that both Caliber and the industry are equipped to adapt with compliance and confidence.

Redefining Legal Excellence at Caliber

Within Caliber, Allie has reimagined how legal operations support business outcomes. She simplified contract templates by 82%, reduced contract turnaround times from a week to same-day service, and introduced cross-functional training for business development and credentialing teams. These initiatives not only improve speed and clarity but also empower colleagues to work with greater confidence and autonomy.

Her achievements don’t stop there. Allie spearheaded a robust trademark strategy, increasing applications by 500% to strengthen Caliber’s brand and protect its growth.

A Leader with Vision and Heart

Beyond her legal expertise, Allie is known for her clarity, empathy, and collaborative spirit. She is a trusted advisor across every department, helping teams make confident, well-informed decisions. Her leadership extends into the community as well, through her work with the Junior League, where she coordinates school programs and fundraising efforts that support underserved communities.

A Rising Star in the Legal Profession

What makes Allie’s recognition so extraordinary is not only what she’s accomplished in such a short time but also the vision she brings to the future. By building a high-performing legal department, shaping national healthcare staffing policy, and mentoring colleagues across functions, she is setting a new standard for in-house counsel.

We are thrilled to see Allie’s contributions celebrated by D CEO and look forward to the continued impact she will make—both at Caliber and across the industry.
